Doehler (Döhler) is expanding in South Africa by forming a joint venture with the food & beverage division of Afriplex to develop region-specific products. For the manufacturing operations, the group will invest in solvent extraction and fractionation technology.
Located in Paarl, South Africa, Afriplex specializes in natural extracts in Africa and provides emulsions and compound solutions for national and international customers in the food and beverage industry. It focuses on rooibos, honeybush, hoodia, pelargonium, buchu, baobab and a selection of African aloe species.
