Bringing Awareness to Autism, One Rose Petal at a Time

roses2

The fragrance industry wafted into Guilford, Connecticut on March 31, 2016 at Roses for Autisms' (RFA) flower nursery for the launch of a new perfume, Ardent Rose. RFA creates employment opportunities and scholarship programs for individuals with autism by growing and selling a variety of flowers, including lavande roses which was used in the featured fragrance.

RFA, Robertet, Bedoukian and the International Fragrance Association North America (IFRA NA) participated in the creation of Ardent Rose in which proceeds will be used to support RFA's mission.

To create the perfume, Robertet's Donna Ramanauskas, perfumer, and Bonnie Watts, fragrance evaluator, used rose absolute, magnolia petals and white amber to create a light and spring-inspired scent.

Though the fragrance is currently made in small-batches, it is open to distribution on a larger scale. Prospective distributors can visit RFA's website to learn more and bring awareness to autism one rose petal at a time.
