Denali Flavors Expands Ingredients Plant for Ice Cream Applications

Denali Flavors, Inc. (Wayland, Michigan) has announced expansion of Denali Ingredients, LLC (New Berlin, Wisconsin). The $2 million expansion, resulting from an increased demand for the company’s ice-cream products, is expected to grow its raw ingredients storage capabilities by 80% and boost workflow efficiencies. The site will also include a pilot lab to produce and test small-run batches of experimental ice cream flavors, before going to full production.

Of the expansion, Neal Glaeser, president of Denali Flavors, said, “[There is] an increase in demand for our ingredients from our partner dairies that are producing our flavors, and we need to be equipped to react quickly to their needs.”
