Naturex claims to have experienced a 20% increase in 2006 sales of rosemary extract compared to 2005. Concerns over chemically-derived synthetic preservatives have pushed food makers to source natural preservatives, such as rosemary extract. Naturex’s Moroccan facility is located close to native rosemary fields and has the capability of extracting over 20 tonnes per day.
