WFFC UK Symposium in March

The Women in Flavour and Fragrance Co. (WFFC, UK) symposium will be held on March 5, 2009 at Tiffany Room, Tavistock Hotel, Tavistock Square, London, England. The event will feature two presentations: "Scents of Time, the Indiana Jones of the Fragrance Industry" by David Pybus, and "Technical Challenges of Recreating a Natural Flavour Profile for an Established Product" by Darren Staniforth. Pybus will offer a background on fragrances such as Nenufar, Sacred Scent of Cleopatra, Pyxis, the lost perfume of Pompeii and more. Seminar attendees will have an opportunity to smell several of the fragrances and keep small samples of Nenufar and Pyxis, and a souvenir card of the mentioned range. This will be followed by a presentation by Darren Staniforth, an independent consultant, assisting clients with product development, processing and scale-up and in-house training.
