Ottens Flavors (Philadelphia) has announced its merger with MK Flavors & Co. (Mexico City). MK Flavors & Co., which was founded in 2003 by Miguel Zavala and Karla Finkenthal, has been renamed MK Ottens Flavors. The merger will enable Ottens to increase its market presence in Central and South America.
Of the merger, Ottens Flavors CEO Richard Robinson said, “Ottens Flavors serves customers throughout the world, and we see significant opportunities for growth in the Central and South American markets. Our merger with MK Flavors strenghtens our position in Mexico and will help us complete our strategic plan to become a strong, global flavor supplier.”
