Takasago International Corp. (Tokyo, Japan) is expanding the production capacity of its facility in Iwata, Japan in order to boost output of l-menthol and menthol derivatives, in addition to other aroma chemicals. Total production volume of l-menthol and its derivatives at the site following expansion is expected to reach 3,000 tons per year.
Takasago is also expanding the manufacturing and applications capabilities of its sensorial center in New Jersey, where the company's flavor and fragrance sensate chemicals are developed and studied for application.
