Citroil Enterprises, Inc. has debuted its new solar panel installation, which now adorns the company’s 50,000-square-foot U.S. headquarters in Carlstadt, New Jersey. The 1,200 panels, which are included on the building’s roof and a canopy, are helping the company to hopefully cut its electrical consumption in half via their use, and Citroil anticipates recouping this investment in approximately eight years.

According to Vivian Glueck, Citroil’s president, “We are committed to reducing the carbon footprint in all of our properties worldwide and looked into many ways to accomplish that.” And Max Vanderlinden, Citroil’s director of operations, who supervised the project added, “The installation took five months and we are very happy with the results. The solar panel project is a testament to the principal’s commitment to form a green prospective within the company. It benefits everyone.”
