Helping to celebrate the 2011 FiFi Awards, The Fragrance Foundation announced the organization is again including a giving back segment for the second year with an online charity auction. Benefiting nonprofit organizations that work with 2011 FiFi honorees Halle Berry and Fergie, the philanthropic efforts will go toward funding What a Little Love Can Do Project, which builds transitional housing shelters for abused women and counts Berry among its supporters, and Fergie’s selected organization, The Avon Foundation, which works to improve and save women’s lives.
The auction will run on Charitybuzz.com from Wednesday, May 11 through Tuesday, June 1, and amongst the items to be auctioned are internships for college students at Bath & Body Works and Maesa Home, a five-day fragrance development training at Givaudan Perfumer School in New York, trips to luxury resorts in Bermuda and Vail, Colorado, tickets to Mets and Yankees games and more.
