The Perfume Companion, an illustrated compendium of almost 500 recommended scents designed to help consumers pick out their next fragrance, has launched.

The Perfume Companion by Sarah McCartney and Samantha Scriven delivers a host of scents for readers to try, including bargain finds and luxury treasures, iconic stalwarts and indie newcomers, the lightest florals and the deepest leathers. 

McCartney is the founder and perfumer at 4160Tuesdays, an independent perfumery in west London. Scriven founded the blog iscentyouaday in 2013 and has twice been a finalist in the UK Fragrance Foundation Jasmine Awards.
