American Cleaning Institute Reacts to Passed Chemical Safety Legislation

In a recent press release, Ernie Rosenberg, American Cleaning Institute (ACI) president and CEO, acknowledges how the Frank R. Lautenberg Chemical Safety for the 21st Century Act would modernize the Toxic Substances Control Act.

“This bill – the top legislative priority for ACI and our members – will further enable our industry’s ongoing work to develop and innovate more sustainable cleaning products,” said Rosenberg. ACI members include formulators for soaps, detergents and general cleaning products for household, commercial and industrial settings.

The Chemical Safety Act will be implemented into the Environmental Protection Agency, the modernization of the outdated chemical safety regulations interesting other companies.
