On January 27, 2025, the International Fragrance Association (IFRA) released its Annual Report 2024 to showcase its achievements over the past year. The report was released in video form and is now available to view on the association’s website.
The report highlights IFRA’s work in sustainability, scientific innovation and safety standards across the global fragrance industry. Further, insights from IFRA’s regional activities in Europe, Asia Pacific, Latin America and India are included.
One key achievement that the association reached was the update of the IFRA Standards, a framework for the safe use of fragrances. The updates are set for full implementation by October 2025. With updates announced every three years, preparations for the next amendment have already begun.
“This year’s annual report reflects new leadership and work on advocacy and science while continuing to advocate for the safe use of fragrances worldwide,” said president Alexander Mohr. “The video format enables us to connect with a wider audience and present our achievements in a dynamic and accessible way.”
