With Valentine’s Day right around the corner, it’s the perfect time to take a look back on recent fragrances that hit the market in the name of love.
Floral scents and rosey colors set the perfect mood for the romantic holiday. Here are some of Perfumer & Flavorist+’s favorite holiday picks:
Noure Essentials’ The Modern Classic Collection: Rose Water + Hibiscus which has notes of rose water, hibiscus, stargazer lily, Persian ivy, white woods and spring musk. The 4 oz room spray retails for $14.99.
L’Occitane’s Rose Calisson Collection: The line draws inspiration from calisson, the famous French confection, and holds floral notes of rose with a woody base. The collection consists of 1.6 fl. oz. perfume, a 1 oz. hand cream, 2.6 oz. shower gel and a 2.6 oz. body lotion.
Tom Ford’s Tubéreuse Nue Eau de Parfum: Said to be a mysterious floral heightened by sensual spice and musk with notes of tuberose, jasmine, spiced akigalawood and timut pepper. Available in a 50 ml ($350) and a 250 ml ($895).
Kilian’s Extreme Love, Don't Be Shy Fragrance: The notes include, neroli, orange blossom, rose and marshmallow. The 50 ml white and gold refillable perfume bottle is adorned with a distinctive white lacquer and retails for $275.
Michael Kors’ Gorgeous! Eau de Parfum: A floral woody fragrance with notes of white floral, a smoky tobacco accord and features a powerful wood finale. The fragrance comes in a 3.4 oz blush pink glass bottle with matte black cap and retails for $118.
Mozzafiato’s Valentine’s Day Lineup: Mozzafiato has compiled a list of five original romantic floral aromas featuring a variety of fragrances. Prices range from $45-$186.
Molton Brown’s Lily & Magnolia Blossom Collection: collection including shower gel, body lotion as well as perfumes. The collection offers a fresh, white-floral fragrance with notes of “creamy magnolia mingling with dewy lily of the valley and warm sandalwood.”
La Maison Valmont’s Mica D'Oro: The collection has notes of rum, chantilly and vanilla. The 100 ml bottle retails for $540.
Luvless’ Amour Sacré Eau de Parfum: The women's fragrance is available in 50 ml for $85 and 100 ml for $135.
KKW Fragrance’s New Hearts Collection: The new Metallic Hearts collection is launching with three fragrances, including: Rose Gold (a floral bouquet scent with notes of lemon pear water, bergamot, peony and glossy musks), Gold (a floral oriental woody scent featuring notes of golden currant berries, honeysuckle and amber woods) and Silver (a floral bouquet scent with notes of rose water, pear blossom, white florals and brushed suede). The Metallic Heart trio-bundles retail for $80 each.
