The launch includes a unisex fragrance named Anuri a La Plage, which uses a Nigerian language and French to translate to “joy at the beach.” The fragrance features aquatic notes with African sweet orange, iris, blueberry, Madagascar vanilla and Virginia cedar.

Anuri a La Plage launches on Senti and Moi Fragrance’s websites in October.

Senti is helmed by Nigerian-American designer, Emeka Ukaga. Ukaga borrows heavily from his West African roots and resources to produce the fabrics and silhouettes for his brand. The logo, branding and textile printing echoes West African design, art and logographic motifs.

Ethan Turner, Moi executive director, says, “This is one of my best creations yet, and I’m already planning for more. Senti touches home in many ways, and I hope to be a long-time collaborator with Emeka and his brand.”
