REACH Guidance Docs

The European Chemicals Agency has released four guidance documents on REACH. The documents cover how to register chemicals under REACH; how to address chemicals used to make other chemicals (intermediates); how REACH affects chemicals being studied for possible development; and the responsibilities of companies that purchase chemicals to transform into products for sale in the European Union. Additionally, the documents offer final suggestions to help both chemical manufacturers and importers, along with firms that purchase chemicals to make products (downstream users), understand their obligations under REACH. And, finally, the documents include advice for firms located outside the EU that import chemicals, preparations or articles into the EU.

The guidance documents are available on the European Chemicals Agency web site at http://reach.jrc.it. (Source: FMA, FEMA)
