The World Congress on Medicinal and Aromatic Plants (WOCMAP) will host its 6th congress on Nov. 13-17, 2019 in Famagusta, Cyprus, focusing on frankincense and myrrh.
Following the 2018 ICFMP First International Conference on Frankincense and Medicinal Plants, WOCMAP planned the special session dedicated to frankincense and myrrh, which will cover the history, sourcing, botany, biochemistry and the economics of the ingredients. During the event, a panel of experts will discuss the trade of frankincense and myrrh, recent scientific findings and if more sustainable ways of sourcing are possible.
