FEMA Examines Sustainability: Is It Sustainable?

Sustainability: Is It Sustainable? The Flavor and Extract Manufacturers Association (FEMA) will be examining this topic and more during one of its largest in-person meetings of the year: the 47th FEMA Fall Symposium.

To be held October 25-27, 2016 at the Hyatt Regency, New Brunswick, New Jersey, the event will feature discussions on sustainability programs along the entire supply chain and the unique impacts on the flavor industry.

Presentations will address how to:

  • Identify the elements of sustainability that consumers truly care about
  • Understand the differences in the food/beverage category to better showcase how sustainability relates to flavors
  • Learn about tools and techniques for the creation of a sustainability program and the best practices that are underway in the industry; and
  • Develop strategies for the creation of sustainability programs that meet your company's implementation needs while addressing the needs of a broad-based CPG company.
