As vanilla continues to be enjoyed globally, the flavor industry is balancing limited raw materials with higher consumer demands. To discuss this dynamic, Corinne Duffy, technical marketing manager for Solvay will present on the Innovation Stage at Flavorcon 2018.

During her “Authentication of a Flavoring Substance: The Vanillin Case” presentation, she will give an overview of various vanillin analytical methods and provide a picture of the vanillin origins available on the market today. Additionally, she will show how the food and flavor industries have become interested in the molecule for product development.
