WFFC To Host 2012 Fall Seminar Focusing on India

Women in Flavor & Fragrance Commerce (WFFC) on October 24 will host its 2012 Fall Seminar that will focus on India as a vital supply source for the flavor and fragrance industry and as a growing consumer market.

The event is scheduled to be held at the Saddle Brook Marriott, located at 138 Pehle Ave., Saddle Brook, NJ. 

Titled “India 360—An Exploration of India’s Raw Material Resources and Market,” the event's discussion topics will include:

  • “Essential Oils, Oleoresins and Floral Extractives of South India”—George Paul (Director, Synthite Industries Ltd.)
  • “Indian Aromatics: From There to Here”—George Janow (Vice President, Purchasing, Berjé Inc.)
  • “The Story of India's Mint Oils and Menthol”—Brian Lawrence (CEO, Brian Lawrence Consulting and Editor for Natural Products, Perfumer & Flavorist magazine)
  • “India’s Changing Market Landscape: Flavor and Fragrance”—Shilpa Panicker (Vice President, oral care North America, Symrise Inc.) and Doreen Bucher (Vice President Marketing, Fine Fragrance, Symrise Inc.)

The presentations will be followed by an Indian-themed lunch.
