Wixon has appointed Steve Fischer to the newly-created position of pricing specialist. Fischer will be responsible for maintaining recurring price lists for all of Wixon’s divisions, as well as developing new price quotes for internal stakeholders.
Previously, Fischer was a mutual fund compliance administrator for U.S. Bank. He will report to Bob Schmidt, Wixon’s production and inventory control manager.
“The addition of Steve to our Finance Department enables us to provide pricing to our customers on a more expedient basis,” said Schmidt. “His background will also allow us to do additional analytical research into cost implications, as well from simulations to actual pricing of commodities. We anticipate his contributing to streamlined processes throughout Wixon’s R&D center, accounting and purchasing departments, which will ultimately benefit our customers.”
