Senomyx Inc. has named Marion M. Brooks and Russell V. Stridacchio as senior regional sales account managers for the company’s new direct sales organization.
They will report to Sharon Wicker, Senomyx’s senior vice president and chief commercial development officer.
Brook's experience includes sales and marketing of compounded flavors, oleoresins, and specialty products into the beverage, alcoholic beverage, confectionery, bakery, pickle and salad dressing industries. She has held account executive and manager positions at Trilogy Essential Ingredients, Citrus and Allied Essences Ltd. and Bell Flavors & Fragrances.
Stridacchio’s background includes culinary and technical product applications roles, in addition to his successful sales experience. His cross-category expertise brings value to customers in the savory, beverage, dairy, bakery and confection segments. He has held sales managerial positions at Citromax Flavors Inc., Mane Inc. and Sensient Flavors Inc.
Under its direct sales initiative, Senomyx is beginning to sell certain of its flavor ingredients to flavor companies for re-sale to their food and beverage company customers.
