Following the completion of its first harvest of Indian sandalwood, privately owned Santanol has added to its management team with the appointment of Paulo Correa as COO.
After more than 15 years of growing Santalum album (Indian sandalwood) trees, Santanol is ramping up the organization, as it prepares to begin selling sandalwood oil to the global fragrance and aromatherapy markets.
Correa joins the group with many years of international experience in technical and commercial roles and was previously the operations general manager of TFS Corporation, where he was responsible for forestry operations, oil processing as well as research and development.
