Wixon has named Rita Singer as a food technologist in the company’s protein, application, and seasoning lab.
Singer is responsible for the development of protein customers’ new products, including seasoning blends and flavor systems, based on ingredient, cost, performance, and organoleptic targets. She will report to Bob Kaegi, Wixon's director of protein applications and seasonings.
Singer has more than 12 years of experience in the industry. Prior to joining Wixon, she served as product development manager for Signature Brands and senior food scientist for Griffith Laboratories.
