Vernon G. Browne, of Tampa, and formerly of Greenwich, CT., died Jan. 17, according to The Greenwich Daily Voice. He was 73.
The report said Browne, who was born in Hastings, Neb., worked for many years as an executive in the flavor and fragrance industry for Norda Inc. He graduated from the United States Naval Academy in 1963, served as a Naval aviator and was awarded numerous commendations.
