Jennifer Beltz has been hired by FEMA as the director of communications to work with members and staff to help with strategic communication, PR and media relations. Previously, she served as the head of communication of a global software association.
Beltz has also had experience as a manager of a gubernatorial campaign, a leader of public affairs at the health company Best Doctors, Inc. and ran a boutique firm's PR for several years. In the upcoming months, Beltz will be attempting to reach out to members and ensure their understandings are up to speed of what the companies issues and policies are.
