Lombardo To Recieve FEMA's Richard L. Hall Distinguished Service Award

The Flavor and Extract Manufacturers Association (FEMA) has selected Peter Lombardo, president and CEO of Robertet Flavors, to receive the 2013 Dr. Richard L. Hall Distinguished Service Award.

FEMA President George C. Robinson III will present the award to Lombardo on May 7, at FEMA's 104th Annual Convention, to be held at the Ritz-Carlton, Palm Beach, FL.

In 1995, the board of governors created the Dr. Richard L. Hall Distinguished Service Award to honor Hall, whose career has been marked by unique commitment and service to the flavor industry. The award pays tribute to those who have shown outstanding dedication to the advancement of the industry and to FEMA. In addition, FEMA says the award is only intended for those whose contributions meet the highest standards of excellence and distinction.

Lomardo has been a member of the flavor industry for many decades and has served FEMA in many roles, most notably as a member of the board of governors and as president from 2001-2002. He is currently a member of the board of directors of the International Organization of the Flavor Industry.

Lombardo will attend the convention and will be a participant for the executive leadership forum on May 8.
