Jason Li Joins ZoomEssence

Jason Li, Ph.D., has joined the research & development team at ZoomEssence, Inc. (Zoom), the company announced. He will serve as director of process technology.

In his new role, Li will focus on the development and broader application of the company’s patented low-process technology, Zooming. Previously, Li served as a global technical leader for delivery systems at Ingredion, where he was tasked with guiding research efforts in emulsifiers, encapsulations and pharmaceutical excipients.

"Dr. Li is an accomplished scientist with significant experience in all aspects of ingredient delivery systems, including encapsulation, carrier materials, and emulsification," said Zoom chief scientist Dr. Charles Beetz. "We anticipate Jason will have an immediate impact on future developments of our patented Zooming low-temperature drying process as well as other low-temperature process opportunities."
