Artiste Names Dolores Avezzano Director of Strategic Accounts

Artiste has named Dolores Avezzano as director of strategic accounts in order to further expand the company's growing customer base.

"Artiste has experienced consistent year-to-year double digit growth over its 12 year history," said Joe Raimondo, Artiste's president and principal. "To continue this momentum requires the addition of experienced and driven talent to our team. Dolores is just that person."

Avezzano has over 37 years of experience in the flavor industry with an expertise in managing strategic accounts. Prior to joining Artiste, she was an account manager at Kerry Ingredients, formerly Cargill, where she served as a key relationship manager in the development of new business with a focus on promoting natural aroma chemicals to industry leading accounts. Earlier, she was senior purchasing projects specialist for Pepsico Inc.  

Additionally, Avezzano is on the board of Women in Flavor & Fragrance Commerce (WFFC) and received the "Woman of the Year" title in 2001. She was instrumental in establishing WFFC chapters in both Cincinnati and Chicago and is the current chairperson of the long-range planning committee. She is also past president and current board member of the Chemical Sources Association (CSA). During her years at Pepsi, she served on the board of directors of the local affiliate and district level boards of the National Association of Purchasing Management (Now ISM).
