Liz Claiborne Dies

According to the Associated Press, fashion designer Liz Claiborne has died after a long battle with cancer. She was 78. Founded in 1976, Claiborne's eponymous company became the first woman-owned enterprise to enter the Fortune 500. Claiborne's brands now include Juicy Couture, Ellen Tracy and more. Claiborne's empire of course reached into fragrance, launching numerous fragrances, including Curve, Bora Bora, Claiborne Sport, Sunrise, Lucky You, Realities, Spark and Juicy Couture.
