Takasago has announced the reorganization of the US flavor marketing team, in line with Takasago’s market segment driven strategy. Brian Buck, senior vice president and general manager of Takasago Americas, reports that the new marketing team is comprised of three key members: Maria Carluzzo, Sue Harrison and Alex DeAngelis.
Carluzzo, who previously held the position of marketing associate, advances to marketing manager with her responsibilities focused on the beverage and savory markets. Harrison, who comes to Takasago Flavors from a previous position at Takasago Fragrances, has been named marketing manager with a focus on the confections and oral care segments. DeAngelis holds the position of marketing administrator, providing support of all segments and marketing responsibilities. Together, this team will collaborate on market research projects, gathering and analyzing data. They will oversee trend analysis and liaison with the creative development services of the Takasago Global Network.
Of the reorganization, Buck said, “Our newly structured marketing team is in place to provide comprehensive services that will support the internal sales and flavor development activities of Takasago Americas as well as enhancing our services to our customers in the United States and around the world. It’s another example of how we are maximizing our resources to be more productive and effective for our customers.”
