Wixon Inc. has named Alan Hubble as director of purchasing.
Hubble has more than 25 years of experience in global sourcing, contract negotiation and procurement in the food and consumer product industries. He will be responsible for purchasing strategies for all of Wixon’s three divisions including packaging, ingredients and third-party manufacturing.
Prior to joining Wixon, Hubble served as procurement director for La Brea Bakery, a subsidiary of Swiss-based ARYZTA AG, and Bay Valley Foods, formerly a part of Dean Foods. He began his career with Dean Foods as a corporate buyer, and eventually became director of purchasing, aiding in aggressive company growth of more than $9 billion.
Hubble is a member of IFT and ASTA and has an educational background in finance and economics. He currently serves on the board of governors for The Children’s Dyslexia Center of Metropolitan Chicago and the board of directors for The Scottish Rite Valley of Chicago. He will be relocating to the Milwaukee area from Lombard, Illinois.
