Ronningen Receives Dr. Richard L. Hall Scholarship in Flavor Science

The Flavor and Extract Manufacturers Association of the United States (FEMA) named Ian Ronningen as the 2012 recipient of the Dr. Richard L. Hall Scholarship in Flavor Science.  

Ronningen is currently pursuing a doctorate in food science with a concentration in flavor chemistry at the University of Minnesota.

The Hall Scholarship was established in 2009 and honors the contributions Richard Hall made throughout his career to the advancement of flavor science. Hall is a past president of FEMA and the Institute of Food Technologists. The scholarship is administered by the Institute of Food Technologists, and one graduate student is selected each year to receive the award.
