The Centre de Luxe et de la Création awarded 12 creative minds in the luxury sector in Paris this week. Among them was Symrise perfumer Emilie Coppermann, who took home the Prix Lalique. It is her second award at the event—she took home the Talent de la Seduction in 2008.

In her 19 years producing luxury fragrances, Coppermann created Givenchy Play for Her and Play Intense, Burberry Brit Sheer, and Carolina Herrera 212 VIP Men and CH 212, among others. She's developed somewhat of a signature style favoring woody scents with notes such as galbanum, mandarin, angelica and musk seed.

"We are very pleased for Emilie Coppermann and congratulate her on this award," said CEO Heinz-Jürgen Bertram. "She has the courage to try new ideas and the ability to create seductive fragrances with her unique creative talents. She is an inspiration to her colleagues and her work is a key factor in Symrise's success."
