Takasago Perfumer Recognized With Chevalier de l'Ordre des Arts et des Lettres

On Jan. 26, 2012, Takasago perfumer Françoise Caron was awarded as Chevalier de l'Ordre des Arts et des Lettres (a Knight of the Order of Arts and Literature) from the French Minister of Culture and Communication. The bestowing of the prestigious French award recognizes the contributions of Caron to the field of fragrance.

Caron joined Takasago in 2007, and she also has worked for many other respected manufacturers of fragrances. She has created many signature scents, and among Caron’s most successful creations are L'Eau d'Ornage Vertes for Hermes, Ombre Rose for Jean-Charles Brosseau, Kenzo ça sent beau, Acqua di Gio pour Femme for Armani, Iris Nobile for Aqua di Parma, Eau de Cologne for Astier de Villatte and many more.
