Women in Flavor & Fragrance Commerce (WFFC) announced the 2012 WFFC scholarship award recipients.
Lauren Ritzmann was awarded the Rita Flynn Memorial Fragrance Scholarship Award. Currently a senior at Ashford University, she also works full time at Kerry Ingredients & Flavors and is raising a young family.
Diane Schmitt is the recipient of the WFFC Flavor Scholarship Award. A freshman at Cornell University, she is studying for a master’s degree in food science and participates in various community services activities, including co-leading Developing Solutions for Developing Countries, a product development team with the IFT and visiting Tanzania to work for women who suffer obstetric fistula.
