Artiste Announces New Health and Wellness Board Members

Artiste has announced the members for its new health and wellness advisory board, who were selected by Artiste president and principle owner Joe Raimondo based on their experience in the industry.
Among the members is Shannon Rountry Maver, a senior industry executive with more than 15 years of experience managing the formulation, sales, marketing, advertising and distribution of nutraceutical and cosmeceutical ingredients and products. Rountry Maver has worked with many companies in the nutraceutical, cosmetic, and food and beverage industries, and was closely involved with the formulation and launch of one of the industry’s first nutraceutical beverages.

Armin Prahst also joined the board. Prahst has over 20 years of practical and academic experience in food technology with a focus on fruits and related products. He is the president of Spagomed Laboratories, where he manages the company including the development of herbal extraction procedures and packaging parameters.

And George J. Perchak also joined the board. Perchak is an experienced clinician, consultant and academician, teaching at Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey. He is an advisor to physicians and other health care providers, patients and regulatory agencies.

Raimondo commented, “While expanding our services to include a category as vital as health and wellness, we felt it was essential to assemble a prominent group of experts to use as a collective resource. We are impressed with the outstanding credentials of each member of the Artiste health and wellness advisory board, and are fortunate to have them as members.”
