The Spicetec Flavors & Seasonings (SFS) division of ConAgra Foods Inc. announced Elaine McGlynn as a new senior principal development scientist for the research, quality and innovation team. Based out of SFS’s Cranbury, New Jersey location, McGlynn will be responsible for the flavor development of customer-driven projects, as well as flavor internalization to support ConAgra Foods’ initiatives. She most recently worked at Ottens Flavors as a senior flavorist, and she has extensive sweet flavor development experience in working with product applications such as nutrition bars, baked goods, cereals, dairy, confectionery and beverage products, and also has experience working in technical support, flavor/product demonstrations and project collaboration. McGlynn has also worked at Flavor Resources/Crompton & Knowles, holds a BS in nutrition and dietetics from Rutgers University, and is a member of the Society of Flavor Chemists.
