Sustainable Fragrances 2011 Announces Keynote

IntertechPira announced Paul Anastas, the assistant administrator for the Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) Office of Research and Development (ORD) and the science advisor to the agency, will provide the keynote address at the 3rd Annual Sustainable Fragrances conference, taking place this year June 9–10 in Arlington, Virginia. Known as the "father of green chemistry" for groundbreaking research on the design, manufacture and use of minimally toxic, environmentally friendly chemicals, Anastas has a record of leadership in government, academia and the private sector.

“Anastas will provide the perfect start to this year's conference and will lay the groundwork for other discussions,” said Christine Groff, conference director at IntertechPira. “Attendees at Sustainable Fragrances 2011 will leave with a thorough understanding of concepts like green chemistry, as well as insight into communications strategies, the current marketplace and the regulatory outlook.”
