IFF (New York) has added Anne Chwat to its staff. Chwat joins in the position of senior vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary, effective April 14. In her role, Chwat will serve as the company’s legal officer overseeing all aspects of global legal and regulatory affairs.
She was most recently executive vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary of Burger King Corporation, where she was responsible for leading the company’s worldwide legal, ethics and compliance activities since 2004. Before joining Burger King, Chwat was general counsel, chief ethics and compliance officer of BMG Music, the music division of media company Bertelsmann AG. She holds a BA in politics from New York University and a JD from New York University School of Law.
