Symrise Honors Five Perfumers

Posted: January 17, 2011

Five Symrise (Holzminden, Germany) perfumers have been awarded the company’s Master Perfumer certificate for their work on successful fragrances for perfumes, cosmetics and household products. Among the recipients were Maurice Roucel, who works in Paris and New York; Joachim Corell, who works in Sao Paulo; and Hans-Georg Reindl and Robert Kuschel, who work in Holzminden. Additionally, recent retiree Egon Oelkers was also recognized, as he continues to contribute to Symrise products.

Presented at the company’s recent global perfumers meeting, the awards included this recognition from Achim Daub, president scent & care: “The Master Perfumer Certificate is a way of honoring these people's exceptional contribution to the success and the future of Symrise. They have used their talent to create compositions which are equally impressive to both our clients and their customers. It is thanks to their work that we can keep providing new inspirations in developing fragrances, which helps us continue to expand our position on the market.”
