Wixon Gets Innovation Award for Wix-Fresh Reduced Sodium System

Wixon, a manufacturer of seasonings, flavors, and technologies for the food and beverage industry, will receive a BizTimes I.Q. (Innovation Quotient) award from BizTimes Media LLC for its Wix-Fresh Reduced Sodium System (RSS).

Wixon’s Protein Group specifically designed RSS for meat and poultry, which benefits flavor without compromising functionality and reduces sodium by up to 50%. The flavor modifier can be customized to any meat species or application, including rubs, marinades, seasonings and injection systems.

The I.Q. Awards acknowledge southeastern Wisconsin businesses for their innovations in products and services. The winners will receive their awards at a ceremony on May 16 at the Potawatomi Bingo Casino in Milwaukee. The ceremony will take place during the business-to-business BizExpo.
