Further to our previous announcement, it is confirmed that with effect from 1st January 2015, Treatt shall supply its customers based in Europe, thus far served on Treatt’s behalf by Bourgarel, on a direct basis, following the amicable conclusion of the agency relationship with Bourgarel SARL.
Treatt has enjoyed a positive relationship with Bourgarel throughout the past 23 years, during which time Thierry Bourgarel and his team have successfully grown Treatt’s European business. Due to implementation of a new strategy by Treatt’s Board, it is felt that changes to the business model are required to further grow the business in Europe and enable Treatt to strengthen its reputation as an innovative ingredient solutions provider.
