Effective July 2013, Naturex completed the acquisition of the land and buildings of a plant located in Valencia, Spain, which Naturex was renting since the acquisition of the ingredients division Natraceutical at the end of 2009.
In accordance with the agreement previously concluded in November 2011, Naturex bought the company Natraceutical Industrial SL (renamed Naturex Industrial SL), whose assets mainly consist of land and buildings on the site of Valencia.
The transaction amounts to €8.5 million to be paid in June 2017.
