IFF Opens Indonesian, Chilean Sites

IFF (New York)  has opened a creative facility in Jakarta, Indonesia, and a sales office and applications laboratories in Santiago, Chile.

The new flavors creative center in Jakarta is located on an existing IFF site, which was rebuilt to double its footprint to 1,500-square-meters. (IFF previously expanded its Indonesian flavor activities in 2013.) Primarily serving customers in Indonesia, the building incorporates systems that support sustainability, including heat, water and emission management systems.

IFF's Santiago flavor site, the first in Chile, covers about 300-square-meters. Opening next week, the facility comprises sales offices and applications laboratories.

The new facilities in Indonesia and Chile underscore our commitment as a leading global partner to generate value for our flavors customers around the world.”

IFF's investments in emerging markets has included a new flavors creative center and expansion of the existing manufacturing site in Gebze, Turkey; a new flavors manufacturing plant in Guangzhou, China; a liquid flavors and fragrances manufacturing facility in Singapore; a new creative and technical facilities in Delhi, India; and an F&F facility in Dubai, UAE.
