IFF Forms New Fragrance Units; Shuffles Executive Positions

International Flavors & Fragrances Inc. (IFF) has reorganized its fragrance business unit to include a new consumer fragrances category and a separate fine fragrances category. 

Consumer fragrances will include fabric care, home care, personal wash, hair care and toiletries. Fine fragrances will be a stand-alone category.

As a result, Jean-Francois Dupont, vice president, global functional fragrances, will transition his current responsibilities to Christophe de Villeplee and assume a part-time role until his retirement in the second quarter of 2015.

de Villeplee, vice president, global fine fragrances and beauty care, has been promoted to the newly created role of vice president, global consumer fragrances.

Bertrand Lemont, vice president, creative director category functional fragrances, has been promoted to the newly created role of vice president, global fine fragrances

Villeplee and Lemont will have responsibility for strategy, business development and creative execution within their respective categories.
