IFEAT Continues its Support of ICATS

The International Federation of Essential Oils and Aroma Trades has donated £20,000 to the International Centre for Aroma Trades Studies (ICATS) to support educational activity.

ICATS and the British Society of Perfumers will host a three-person delegation from the School of Chemical and Life Sciences (Singapore Polytechnic) at the 2015 IFEAT/ICATS/BSP Perfumery Workshop weekend.

ICATS' Tony Curtis says, “This support is invaluable and has made the next BSP Perfumery Workshop Weekend possible: it is to be held in at Whittlebury Hall (UK) 27th February to 1st March 2015. ICATS and the BSP are pleased to be hosting a delegation from School of Chemical and Life Sciences (Singapore Polytechnic) at the event. Planning is in hand to run the Workshop in Singapore in 2016. This is building on the success of the ICATS/IFEAT Intermediate Perfumery Workshop run as part of the 2012 IFEAT conference in Singapore. This is part of a long term IFEAT aim from IFEAT to provide more education support to members in Asia/Pacific Rim."
