Green Chemicals Company Myriant Signs Distribution Pact with Azelis

Renewable chemicals company Myriant Corp. (Quincy, Massachusetts) has signed a distribution agreement with Azelis Group, which is now distributing Myriant’s bio-succinic acid in the Nordics, Benelux, France, Iberia, Italy, the U.K. and Ireland, targeting customers in the industrial and base chemicals markets.

Myriant supplies bio-succinic acid from its facility in Lake Providence, Louisiana, with nameplate capacity of 30 million pounds per year. Its bio-succinic acid is made from renewable feedstocks and is chemically equivalent to petroleum-based succinic acid.
