Givaudan Expands Flavor Capabilities in Southeast Asia

In response to rising demand for flavors in savory, dairy and beverage applications, Givaudan has opened a new CHF 24 million spray dry facility in Indonesia to enhance its capabilities across The Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) market.

Production is now beginning to transfer to the new Cimanggis site, which will feature conventional and the latest Ultraseal spray dry capabilities. According to the company, rising customer demand for flavors in dry applications is leading to increased demand for spray dried flavors across Asia. The investment will allow Givaudan to strengthen the development of flavors that meet Asian consumer preferences, especially in the area of noodles, soups and beverages.
