The Evolva and Takasago partnership has reached its second milestone, bringing the project closer to launch new target ingredients and the total payment of $1 million to Evolva. The project explores fermentation routes to produce undisclosed ingredients with a wide variety of applications for the flavor and fragrance industry.
Evolva’s fermentation technology is used to develop and optimize yeast strains for sustainable ingredient production. Both parties will share the economic values from manufacturing and commercialization of the final products. The revenue from this agreement was recognized in Evolva’s 2016 accounts.
