In a boost to its presence in Southeast Asia, which accounts for 8% of its sales, Eurofragrance (Barcelona) has established an affiliate in Singapore. (Eurofragrance divested its flavor division in July.)
Eurofragrance S.E. Asia Pte. Ltd. will service Southeastern and Eastern Asia countries such as Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Korea, which are expected to see GNP grow by between 4.7% and 6.3%.
Allan Koh has been named area manager of the affiliate. He has 19 years of industry experience. Koh is responsible for management of the sales team.
"Our strategy in Singapore involves improving customer services in Southeast Asia and gaining a deeper knowledge of the local market," says Santiago Sabatés, CEO of Eurofragance.
